High value 'double barrel rifle'?

I have been using a double shotgun with two triggers since my early teens, it's really easy and instinctive. It shouldn't take you long to become accustomed to it. I won't use a double with a single trigger, having two triggers just makes more sense to me.
 
Sounds like the OP is trying to balance a working man's budget with a double rifle taste and the two just don't go together, period.

I had a short lived hankering for the same kind of thing a few years back, but quickly realized that doubles are completely out of line for a budget minded individual.

Not sure if the OP is aware of this, but from what I could find, doubles aren't exactly known for pinpoint accuracy either, even the expensive ones. So if he was planning on getting bolt action accuracy out at longer ranges, he's probably very glad he didn't fork out $7000 for a rifle that would get outshot all day long by a $300 Axis.
