I have a Savage model 11 that uses the axis style magazine with the plastic tab doohickey on it, chambered in .223.
I'd love to get a higher capacity magazine for it, 10 or even 15 shot. Any of the ones I've seen online don't ship to Canada.
What are my options? I would consider going to a chassis (MDT LSS likely) but that's pretty pricey at this point.
Is there a way to do this on the cheap (or at least reasonable?). Does anywhere in Canada have a higher capacity magazine?
I finally took it out to Sherwood Park Fish and Game and was able to do loonies sized 5 shot groups at 100 yards with it. I was very impressed. The small magazines frustrated me though.
