Higher rings for mount a scope on an AR type rifle?

Does anyone make or carry rings that are taller so I can put a bigger scope on an AR type rifle. I bought a nice TRS-1 4-16x50 Millett scope but the thing is too big for the standard Burris rings I bought for it so now I can't mount my scope. Any ideas?

Yes you need risers of 1/2 inch or higher. I use them and then put my rings on them..Works great<<

I was looking at the ARMS mount #5 I think that will work but I will check with wolverine in the morning.

Most ring manufacturers make their rings in different heights. Try a set of tall rings, but you may need extra tall which I don't think are so common. Your best option may be to get an extended or "scout" rail, this will lift the scope higher and make it easier to mount your scope with the proper eye relief.
