Hoping to get a last minute deer so I can put something different on the Xmas dinner table this year, also I want to take a crack at coyote. Not looking to steal anyone's spot, just looking to increase my chances.

The rut is over on Haida Gwaii the bucks are deep in the bush resting and the doe will not com to a call

drift, if your up around Merrritt in Region 8 do not be surprised if you see a yote trotting across an open clearing.
Get out and shoot as soon as you can if the dog starts trotting give a woof and you better have him in the cross hairs cause he wont stop for long.

Wish I saw this post a few days ago, might have tried to make it up to there rather than wasting another day around Harrison...
I was there last Wednesday and Thursday and I forgot what a deer looked like.... it's been a weird year for game, seems like there's. Next to none compared to last year.
