Anybody have any experience with High Tech Specialties (Bansners) stocks. I might try one of these on an rem long action if I can get some positive feedback. From what I understand they all come just primed and require bedding, paint and pad. Brownells has them for about 250$. Does anybody have one on their custom rifle? Any smiths work with them?

Thanks

Brenden

I have used a bunch of Bansner stocks and have been well satisfied with them. I think they represent good value. Regards, Bill.

Have one on my wifes .280 and its very nice they need sanding and filling before painting. You can order directly from HTS I am not sure if brownells will ship them to canada.

Unless they offer primed stocks as an option??? They come from the factory with a gelcoat finish, there are some mould seams that need to be sanded down and filled, stock needs to be sanded and the action fit and bedded as well as the bottom metal

There is more work involved than just plopping the gun in some bedding and calling it a day.
Great stocks and a worth while upgrade, but there is a little work involved.
