Hilldog in NZ *pic heavy :)

the 270 has been faultless , typically the nut at the end of the butt that lets the team down , last shot was at a Chamios at 370 in too much wind on the tops, my fault.

carry on :) back in civilisation for a few days :)

How are you packing all that meat out? Sled w/ a 4x4? How far back do you have to haul it?

not much retrieval, backstraps for camp dinner,
all regarded as Pests here, so no requirements for once shot except the Depature want them all Gone.....

i use some tahr an young red for camp, an bring some if i shoot them the day before i leave, temps are too hot to keep in backpack for 4-7 hours when walking out from valleys

got to love that fact in NZ..

il target farm fringe for my meat maybe next week

The South Island has many places that will remind you of the BC's Okanagan, the North Island becomes more sub tropical the further north you go. NZ's climate is more temperate than Australia's.

Heading down to visit NZ next year, your photos really got me thinking about planning a hunting trip with my nephew. The BIL leased two cabins on Nuie Island so heading over there for a bit as well. NZ is one of the most beautiful places I have visited.

How does the terrain compare to Australia?

Wow, what country and what an adventure! Bravo!

So umm, the duct tape on your rifle stock, did you break it?

Boomer! a few people have Asked about my Mossy Burger stock!!
the Duct Tape is just a few Wraps of it for Spares, as the Duct tape roll is quite Heavy! an still full.

What ive been doing with the Duct tape is saving some Skin on my Heels :D an using bits inside my Boots on the Heel, however the original strips have lasted!

No issues with the Patriot as of Yet!!

Hey For you fellas who might be somewhat interested in my Expedition over here in NZ, I have uploaded all my Videos onto PATREON , I moved it from Youtube to Patreon because its a little more Personal , i show the struggles and the highs and lows etc, Which on Youtube is quite Public , the patreon approach keeps it more personal to people who are actually interested in the NZ hunting , or my adventures in their spare time..
So far its been good, a nice slow gain of Contributors for the past month or two and its Helping me continue to be able to be in the Bush for extended periods without having to slave away in the old Truck job!

For Anyo of you CGN'rs i will put the Link up Below, an keep in mind the "Teirs" are not Set so If You can Contrib only $2 that is AWESOME and it gives you Full Access to my Videos!

Try it for a month and if you arnt into it...... cancel your subscription!
