Where's the best place to order hip waders from? I've seen what WSS & Cabelas have to offer but where else online can a guy order them from in Canada?

Depending on what type of waders you are looking for, hunting or fishing, boot or sock, hip boots, hip waders, chest waders, breathable or neoprene. Either way I have yet to find a retailer in Canada who has quality waders for less then what the US retailers can ship them up here for.

Most of the Cambodian Tire style stores carry hip boots made by bush line. They are OK for a weekend of gardening when it's wet. If you want serious hip boots for waterfowling, coon huntin or trappin buy from Cabelas and get the extra heavy trappin rated boots. They cost 4 times more than Bushlines but they will last for years and years. (ask me how I know...)

regards, Darryl

The Bushlines look like they'd be done on the walk from the truck to the beaver pond. Pretty Mickey Mouse-ish. I'm looking at the LaCrosse Trapline model, and have yet to find a dealer up here.I just thought I'd post this and see if someone else might have come across a place I didn't think of.

muck has a really good pair out now and they look like a good hip wader. you mention lacrosse if there anything like there chest waders i would not waist my time

If your interested in quality I'd recommend "Bare" they make wetsuits aswell, the website can direct you to a dealer near you. I have had a custom pair of 5mm neoprenes from them for almost 15 years and I have used them in all weather conditions and never had a problem. Be careful with the sizing, because of the size of my feet according to there size chart I should be 6'5" and 300 pounds, I needed a custom pair but they fit like a glove.

Bass pro online comes from the states btu thry them. They can tell youall the brokerage fees etc up front so there are no surprises. I have bought from them online and had it work out WAY cheaper than buying from their local store (same item).

x2 on the Bare waders. I have spent whole summers where 'work pants' = waders and have had pairs last more than one year when worn that frequently.
My Cabelas brush buster waders lived up to their name when hunting often included barbed wire out east, but they are crazy heavy!

Knowing what you are doing in your waders will greatly change what ones are worth recommending.
