I got this Hipoint in .40 cal and made it into a kind of zombie gun. I don't think there is a thread for Hipoints yet so post um here and zombie guns too. I think the hipoint is a much better gun then the JR, it half the price and its really rugged and can take a real beating. never had a fail yet and it says you don't need to clean them so I am not cleaning this gun till I get a fail in it. I added the zombie stopper that I haven't tried yet and a laser/light combo and also i took the recoil springs out of the butt plate. there is no need for them on a pistol carbine and I find the gun slaps your cheek when you shoot with them in.

Where did you buy it from? I have the .40 handgun and although it is way too big and bulky as a carrier, It sure is fun to shoot and answer all the questions about it at the range.

I got it from Prophet River plus they had just got in a bunch of clips for $20 so now I have 3 and they are all 10 shot since they are pistol mags.. it was new/used just didn't have a box with it. its for sure one of the most fun guns I have owned. not saying its nice looking but it works and works good.

Just saw that its only available in restricted barrel lengths, which seems pointless. This thing was meant to be fired outdoors. Shame.

I had the Highpoint JHP 45 ACP pistol. It was huge and heavy with a massive slide and a slippery smooth plastic grip. But it ran like a top and shot very well for me. It was a cheap pistol but clearly built for abuse. I would get the carbine if it were non restricted.

I have a "non restricted" 995TS...bought it to celebrate the end of the long gun registry. Had the barrel redone, and it shoots darts... Great little carbine, and as far as I know, the only NR in Canada.

I have been looking at doing a Zombie gun built around a Cal Tek Sub 2000... If you troll Nutnfancy he has a few gers about that rifle but nothing to bad they are both good Zombie poppers. I have shot your rifle and it is a little heavy and there is something odd to me about the upper pistol grip on my hand. But if a rifle shoots good and fits you and your stance the shoot it... I am not going to slam a lot of rifles. the cheap Remington rifles and the Mossberg night trains are junk don't put ammo in them, I know first hand.

Zombie guns should be small calibers as you want larger amount of ammo so .308 .338 Lapua and .50 BMG are not the best ZIGs. Give me any 9MM, .40 Cal or .45 ACP carbine any day.

another interesting zombie gun might be the little keltec .22 mag handgun. if you could have 30 shots in it. it would really come in handy.

I would call a zombie gun a fun gun. something you use just for fun and plinking but also has some firepower and you can dress up with a bunch of stuff.

Can't have a zombie gun without a Zombie Tools Machete!

Wait what. It ACTUALLY says in the manual NOT to EVER CLEAN it????

This is a joke right? Or am I missing something about the magical self cleaning gun?

Or maybe is just so cheap you shoot it till it jams and then buy a new one. Kind of like a chevette.
