Moose were first confirmed in Washington State in 1929, with a hunter photographing a bull moose near Twin Lakes in Ferry County. By 1977, a limited-entry hunting season was established, and by 1972, a stable population of about 60 moose had been documented in Pend Oreille County. Over the years, the population has significantly increased, with estimates reaching around 5,000 moose in the 2010s.

I bought a few guns off an old widow and this map came with the owners manuals for them. Her husband was a very detailed oriented individual.

Now that's a cool little piece of history.
