Historical piece of art on Gunbroker

When I see pieces like this I wonder, simply because I am not knowledgeable enough to know if something like this is real, fake, re-done, engraved recently or what. VERY nice looking Luger don't get me wrong, and I hope whom ever wins it pays a bit less than its true value, whatever that is.

While I respect the craftsmanship this is totally not my thing. But that's what I love about the firearms world, from mild to wild, small calibre to .50bmg there is something for everyone. :)

This reminds me - back in October my buddy who is on the force with York Regional when on a gun pick up run when the owner called and said he didn't want it anymore. His Sgt had no idea what it was. Likely to be destroyed. Actual WW2 Luger with nazi stamp. Shame.

It's a pretty gun. $25k, not me. I could see if it was the one Hitler used for his "final solution". Then again it might have a few more zeros on it
