HiViz front sight for your henry

^Interested as well. Can't decide whether or not to try one...or...put a red dot on mine. Any dealers in Canada sell them?
SFRC in the dealer banner sells them but there sold out right now. Going to check locally with a couple shops as I know they handle hiviz shotgun beads .they may be able to order one or have it in stock .I like the gun with open sights but I'm having trouble finding the front sight in darker lighting conditions . thinking the fibre optic would solve this .

^My feelings as well. I have an older, round-barrel Henry Pump (purchased recently) but the sights are about has high quality as the last Crosman airgun I bought about 30 years ago. lol But yes...the black, plastic front blade is wide...and seems to nearly fill the notch in the rear sight. Looks like a line of black sighting down. Interesting...thinking about this, I picked-up my Cooey 39 and the iron sights on that old bird are 100x better than the Henry...which is less than 15 years old.

Contacted LeQuille country store in the Annapolis Valley they had one in stock and it will be in the mail tomorrow . will report back when I receive it and get it on the henry :d .

I have upgraded mine with the hi viz sights.
What a world of difference. Clearer sight picture. Have no problem picking off shotgun shells now.

Got my HiViz sight installed . haven't got it out to shoot with it yet but it really seems to be much easier to see than the standard front sight . also like the fact than it is made of metal compared to the plastic one that was on the rifle .

Pics & range report would be great

After the club sporting clay shoot today. I got a chance to put a few rounds down range with my Henry 22lr with the new HiViz front sight . absolutely love this front sight :d .fast and easy to find it in the notch of the rear sight .at 50 yds off hand I was smacking the 2" paddles on a resettable rimfire target repeatedly .I would highly recommend this sight for anyone who wants to shoot their Henry with the iron sights but has trouble seeing them .

Installed one on my Mare's Leg (with a full buttstock, so she is essentially short H001), and the sight picture is greatly improved. Love it!

Only drawback is that the HiViz really highlights the limited adjustability of the factory rear sight.
