hiya all.. 1911 .45ACP vs Glock 19 Gen 4

Started with a Glock 17 Gen 4 and added a Spartan 45, I love them both for different reasons

I feel the same about Glocks & 1911's, too.

I went to an gun show in Burlington this summer 2018, and after the show there was a sales event. They had the latest gen 5 Glock 19 for $700CAD even but the lineup was so huge I gave it up, that being a mistake now as I can't find it anywhere else.

That being said, the Glock 19X is now available online for $810 and it seems that's more up my alley anyway, so that's what i'll be getting.

I suspect that it was the G19 Gen 4 Canadian edition you saw. Never seen any Gen 5's yet

I am a huge Glock 9mm fan, I have 17G4, 19G4, 26G3 and a 34MOS. If I could only keep one restricted of my 15, it would be the G17. With that said, I have never shot any gun, I like more than a 9mm 1911. I can shoot it better, longer, and happier than any Glock.

To be honest I did not see it in the store, only at the show (and it was a gen 5, without the grip grooves and with the half moon cutout), and is the very reason why we all wanted one and stayed in line, and the line was huge. So, I am guessing that those people who waited, if they got there finally and found out that the gun that was advertised was not the one for sale they would be very mad. So I can't be 100% sure but it would seem weird to me if it wasn't.
