Definitely more of a GPMG if I had to label it. Newer LMG's are usually 5.56mm these days.

HK makes guns for soldiers that happen to exercise, not civlians who sit on a PC all day and eat potatoe chips...not saying that is you.

That is not true at all, HK went out if it's way to make the SL8 version of G36 and USC version of UMP, also they are a big supporter of the NRA in the US and there pistols are widely available. Not to mention they did make a civi version of the HK416/417 series of rifles. There G3 version were also available as well till things tightened up and that has more to do with US governments pushing for gun control back in the 80's like under Bush Senior(89) and Reagan(86), and the Clinton (94). Not to mention all the laws that were put on by the hippies in Germany as well.

This is just old and stupid on so many levels that has no levity what so ever to the truth...

Funny how Colt Canada(formerly Diemaco) has not done anything here in Canada yet they take no heat whats so ever, hell I don't think KAC made there products available till recently, HK if anything has a proven track record of actually caring more than most companies and they under the most scrutiny...


I have even herd Colt Canada employees openly state civilians should not be aloud to have ownership of there products before...
