Since according to our german friends this should be in Canada imminently if not already, where exactly are we in regards to:
1 classification of this rifle?
2 who will we be able to buy it from?
3 when will we be able to buy it?

Can't find any information about the gun for the Canadian market. Probably won't be cheaper than a SL-8. Guessing a 16" barrel first like the ACR.

The SL8 were $2000 about 8 months ago. Lots of people converted those rifles to G36 but the rifle remains very heavy since it has the heavy barrel of the SL8 and not the thinner barrel of the G36. Oddly enough, the real G36 already has restricted status here in Canada. I've only seen two real HK G36 here in Canada and they're worth about $10,000 - $15,000

The "C" & "K" versions are restricted, 9" & 12.5" respectively, the G36(E) has 18.9" barrel and is NR.
