so what's the deal.... standard questions apply:

can we get them here?
how rare are they?
what'll it cost?

I really REALLY want one lol and i've been shopping around for my first rifle and i figured that instead of going with a standard AR, i might look into something a little bit different than what the army's willing to shell out on.

also, same questions apply for the SCAR- L. that would be fun to play around with too, i think...

thanks in advance:D

HK416 uppers are fairly rare; the MR223 has the same build quality as the HK416 (except with a 16.5" barrel), and you get the matching HK lower as well. And for a lot less. Questar was taking pre-orders for SCARs at one point (no export guarantee); perhaps check with them to see where things are at.

CRAFM had some HK's at one point if I recall correctly, as with SCAR if anyone can manage to get hold of some, Questar would be the one to do it.

Pricing wise don't expect be anything less than $3500.

i remember talking to a guy up at Ellwood Epps and he said that they can arrange imports and whatnot.... does that hold true for anything i can think up or is it just with certain people that they do business with.

Whats your budget?

I think it will depend entirely on availability and whether or not the required export documents can be obtained. Never hurts to inquire, though.

Dave Sports Shop in Washington State and Questar both offers specialty importing service for a fee, you are looking between $300-700 per item.

Anything that is not classified as Prohibited by Canada or placed on a restricted export list by the U.S. Department can be imported with the correct amount of paperwork, time and money.
