I saw that one on hkparts and it made me sad a little inside...I had a line on an upper earlier this year for much less but didn't bite (it was still stupid expensive...but not near $4800...oh well, live and learn). I'll just fondle my .22 copy (with 16" barrel) and dream...for now.

Just get the 14.5" HK MR223 A1 that Tactical Imports is bringing in. If memory serves, it was around $3,699.

The newer MR223 A1 model does interchange with standard AR uppers and lowers, yes.
