HK 45 Yes or No?

I've never seen a Canadian price on this pistol... Hopefully they are not gouging the Canadian consumer when these indeed trickle in. It's a $1100 US retail pistol ($1029-1099 US during a google search).
 
So importing from the states would be almost the same price then...

So if I was thinking of doing this, I would need a licenced importer in the Detroit, MI area, anyone know of one?

There's lots of them over there... Desert Eagles are $1400 there...
 
Mine was just shy of $1400 new. Mags are $80-85 a pop new. Definitely not cheap, but I don't regret spending the cash on it. I believe they hold their resale value quite well, but that's not a concern for me since I don't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon.

It probably would be about the same price to have an importer bring one in, with a little less of a wait. I got wait listed with Wolverine, and waited maybe 3-4 months. I had actually kind of forgotten about it until they called me up and said they were in.
 
There was a "shortage/scare" that HK USA was upset and no longer gonna approve/allow export to Canada of their products... no idea how true it was or if it was just a marketing ploy.
 
I think the issue is that they used to be made in Germany (mine is), but manufacturing has moved to the US. Export out of the US into Canada is 'tougher' (for whatever reason) than from Europe.
 
I bought my HK45C out of the case at one of 5 gun stores within 15 minutes of my house :D

When it comes to guns, it's nice to live in the States...

I contacted a few forum sponsors about the HK45. Told me the same thing. That they don't ship to Canada because... something or other.

Was told that a shipment of full size HK USP 45's will be available for purchase next month. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll send you in their direction.

I love my USP 40, not really interested in the USP 45 myself.

Hk45...and HK USP 45 are DIFFERENT guns...I think some of you are confusing them!!!

HK45 is the new and muchhh improved USP 45...

- lighter weight, slimmer grip
- interchangeable back straps and better grip angle, 1911 style
- extended..well more enlarged mag release
- ambi slide release
- front slide serrations
- longer sight radius
- MIL-STD-1913 rail/ STANAG 2324 rail instead of the older HK stytle one.

All in all...the USP is a great gun and the HK45 is an AMAZING gun!!! :)

Exactly...Wolverine has the HK USPc .45 for $1150 but the only HK45c I've seen up here is the one on the EE for $2K (that had to be imported).

Did you contact Wolverine Supplies? They get them in, you just have to wait.
