Anyone have any time on an HK with an LEM trigger? How does the LEM compare to the SA/DA trigger, and how does it compare to conventional DAO pistols?

Thanks!

I had a V1 converted to LEM a couple years back. The trick to getting a lighter weight (6.3lb) was to leave the trigger return spring, and FPB spring from the V1 in, but install the other parts of the LEM kit. Some use the LEM Hammer spring, but it made little difference. It is much better than other DAO, but not better than SA. Some work can get it down to 3.5lb.
If you use it, try and use it exclusively.

I sold it to fund another purchase.

Call Wolverine supplies, they have the V1 LEM with tritium nightsights with a price that's surprisingly low for a HK with tritiums. They have 9mm and .40

Mr Maurice, the suppliers , FN Sports/ R.Nicholls don't seem to be too hot about getting a LEM system for the civy. I had tried to get an HK 45 tactical compact with the LEM, that specific handgun was review in a Gun&Ammo Magazines last year as a entry for the US army. That specific one was available down south but a full NO for us up here. I had tried with Dante , my shooting range (CTVSP) and Wolverines at no effect.

I know that now Wolverines get a V1 for the P2000 in 9 and 40 but do the V1 variation is a real LEM??

SO, it is FN that is not willing to sell it to civies,....figures. Sometimes they are really smart at FN, and other times they are #######s. THEY "Choose" to not sell it to the Civiliain market. The LEM kit is available in the USA. Order it from there.

actually, try this guy first;

I have ordered from him/ them/her before. No Worries.
inform him if you have the new or old version of the hammer/catch.

They have them (LEM triggers) at CDNN for 50 bucks too.

Im pretty sure (that it being a "trigger") that it would be regulated tho for US export, unlike the not so important 'under 100 dollar' things. Course that doesn't mean you couldn't get someone to try ;)

Only thing worse than crappy gun laws, are companies that refuse to sell things to civies because we're not "professional enough"

too be honest, you don't need that trigger, just the hammer, small hammer, little spring and the othe part.

Was told once again that FN is the supplier for HK in Canada and they will not sell LEM to the public. I do not really want to order the kit seperate so I guess I will try through wolverine. Are they good to deal with as far as delivery time?

Yves, I'll let you shoot mine when it shows up! You better order one quick before they're all gone!

Oh yeah, regarding the trigger, it's more like an SA trigger than a DAO. Personnaly i love it. I prefer it over my USP's SA/DA

Sorry Yves, but already got last fallfrom PD a Sig 226 DAK, almost the same. Will keep the money that will come by for an AR. I will rethink a LEM system if they add it to the tactical compact in .45ACP

SO I gotta ask...are there actually any LEs in Canada using the USP LEM anyways? Or is this just FN being commie whores as usual? Took me almost 10 months to get my barrel in.... Wouldve been probably next day across the border...
