Another question fellas.

I could have sworn a couple days back that I saw an HK MP7 on the EE, with no price posted.

I thought HK didn't sell the cool stuff to civvies though...I have never seen an MP5 or and MP7 for sale in Canada before.

Are these guns available? If so, where can I get one?

There are a couple MP7s in civilian hands..

I would suggest taking a look at the Brugger and Thomet TP9. Significant difference in price compared to the MP7 in initial cost and the cost to feed it.

TP9 or even the Beretta Storm are affordable alternatives.

There was an attempt to get some ex police MP7 s in but that fell through. I'm guessing politics. The government has a problem with civilians buying their semi auto perfectly legal stuff, "in case" something happens. It's too bad, I was in for that deal. I really wanted one.

With the current cost. I went with the Beretta Storm. I'm taking mine in to get the bull barrel and make it non restricted. Seems like the best solution.

there are like 2 or 3 semi-only MP7's in Canada in civilian hands.

There is one on the EE for like 14 grand (as already stated).

I would say get a Brugger & Thomet TP9, for about 2000 dollars its a nice 9mm carbine, despite only having 5 round mags...

You can also look at getting a Famae saf.I have one and its the closet thing i am ever going to get to a MP5.

Even if the MP7 were readily available and cheap, I still wouldn't go for it, considering that ammo is quite rare and I highly doubt that there are even reloading dies for it.

Thx for the heads up.

guess I'll have to be more diligent in looking through the EE section.

I'm hoping to run across the unobtainium HK USC too ;)

Who in his right mind will purchase a 12000$ firearm that sells for roughly a sixth of that in the United States? That's just f*ckin' greedy, man. I could see asking for 6-7K due to rarity, I guess.

Anyway, that's my opinion...
