hk p2000 + weird cfc call

I can't wait, as soon as I am done at work I am on my way to go get my brand new HK P2000 (V1). Whit a bit of luck I will also be able to try it Saturday at the range so I will hopefully make a small range report for the one interested.

There was something weird whit that transfer, CFC didn’t call me they called my mom and asked her if I have any personal problem that could make me dangerous around fire arm?????? Anny thing happen to one of you?
 
Well no it's my 4 pistol and the weird thing his that I didn't have been called; only my mom have that phone call.

Any way they left her a phone number in case I come insane and I feel like shooting every one....

Did they call my mom hopping that as her natural mom instinct would be against fire arm?

Anny way I can’t wait to shoot that little thing 

Anny one having an idea how to change the back strap?

Thats totally ####ed up, you should make a complaint.
 
My references are both in my household and we didn't get a single call for my first restricted purchase. Come to think of it I don't even recall getting a registration slip in the mail. Should I be concerned?
 
the pin at the bottom of the grip should be pushed out,.then slip off and replace with other piece. (instruction book may have pictures)

If they're looking for a character reference prior to authorizing a transfer, why on Earth would they ask the person being checked?


Them: "Hey, Sloi, do you think you're of sound mind and alright to own this pistol that you just ordered for yourself?"

Me: "Uh... yeah?"

Them: "OK, thanks sir!"


I mean, it's fairly self-explanatory as a process, isn't it? Sometimes, I wonder about you people. :p

Ya it does matter, you better not forget mothers day. So its your mommy that holds the key to your firearms? Asking people with zero qualifications about someone elses mental health is dangerous, not to mention that a relative could have a vendetta against you.
