Hk P30-L

I ordered a S&W M&P a couple of weeks ago ... when I went back in hoping the transfer would be done, the guy at the store told me "oops, we screwed up, we didn't actually have it in stock" (wish they'd called me to tell me ) ... but now ... I'm kinda glad I didn't end up getting that. I'll happily hold out for a P30L instead. It looks good (and comfy) to me, and there's no doubt HK can be trusted for quality stuff.

Thanks for posting this. If I hadn't seen it, I might have gone elsewhere and got the M&P instead.

Any information about price?

If you keep up with the chat on other boards, there are a few opinions.

One is.. "P30 is offered at 859 Euro (1,213.08 USD) and the HK 45 at 1249 Euro (1,763.84 USD) here in Germany"...quote from HKPro (prices Approx.)

Thats kinda pricey....

The other view is that priced like that, HK will price themselves out of the market. They will have to bring the price down to the compitetion.
Might be looking at $700-$750USD for the P30(L) and $850-900USD for the
HK 45.
From there...what it costs in CDN is anyones guess. Our strong dollar dosen't mean S*it to the importers here, they will whatever excuse, shipping costs, duties to keep the price high...

I won't pay more than a current USP for one. $1050... if they want more for a P30 they can stick it.

well, I would like to pay less for everything,...but as the P30L has more grip parts, an probably a little more time QC as the grips have to fit, then I assume it is going to cost a little more. I am thinking $1150 for an L model. It also comes with Glowing sights as the norm, so also accounting for that, I would say $1225. It is going to be more expensive for the P30L, but I expected that.

ya..ok. You got me.. I'd pay $1200 for a P30L as well. But Shhhhh!! Don't tell the importer, we want them to price it under $1000.

Lets all send a petition to FN and get them to retail it for $999... piss of those Americans even more. A better Dollar and cheaper HK's LOL

I saw one down in Maine at the Kittery trading post. It was the P30. Nice grip, I think the price tag was around $817 US. great potential for a production division/idpa carry type.

Last time I spoke to one of the dealers above about the HK45 I was quoted $1500 - pretty ####in ridiculous ...

I'd love one, but not for that price. I'd rather get the Sig P220 Stainless Elite for that price any day!

Its nice, but it should be about $900-$1000 dollar tops gun..anymore is a waste.

$1500?! I think not! I'm getting another damned LMT AR15 for that. And I would only be interested in the P30L, the shorties with extended barrels seem "garage-smithed" in my eyes.

P30 sells for roughly the same money as the USP in the U.S. and P30L is just a slightly longer P30. There is no way it's going to cost anywhere near $1500. My guess is that it will be in the $1050-1150 range.

that is what I think as well.

I look forward to getting my mitts on one of these. I hope that the Jan 08 timeframe holds up.

Yup. The HK website pictures sold it to me...

I really like the look of this pistol. Since I'm a huge HK sackrider, I'll be getting one of these.
