HK P30l recoil springs, colour coded?

Just curious, mines red. Was just wondering since even after a 1000 rds. or so mine still will not function without full house loads. Anything less, and the brass barely clears the chamber or stovepipes. Just wondering if there is a correlation with the colour of the spring. I realise it was designed for the police/military market, but others with the gun don't seem to have this issue

i had a v1 lem and a v3 da/sa and they both had a red coated recoil spring. they both worked flawlessly with any ammo i put through it. i wasnt reloading at the time so it was all ae / blazer factory ammo.
