HK P7 PSP Value?

Have you measured it? last 2 weeks . I have run into two guns that are 12-6, but are over the limit, a nice S-W 39 that is 105.3mm and a model 10.
both where never verified when C68 came in. Mine own P7M13 is just over the cut off, restricted, I forget the exact number. So if you have not checked it, do it.
Back in the old days , exact measurement did not matter.
the guns I check where reregister as required when they went to the "new system", but never measured correct , or just presumed to be 4 in.

NJ State Police
US Park Service
Some specialized units within US Customs
Some municipal forces

I remember reading a list somewhere one time....can't find it now.

At the current p7 psp refurb prices this Unicorn is about 250,000 under valued in my opinion. I wish I didn't just write a big cheque to our government or this would be mine.

Now THAT is a P7 worth owning

I did a double take on the price-thought the comma was in the wrong place :)

That is a neat one for sure. Can't help but think, though, that appropriate market value based on international sales won't be achieved in Canada.

I spent a lot of time collecting these and importing them into Canada so it would be a shame to send them abroad. I'm realistic about the Canadian market that is why I listed it at what I consider is a low estimate. Im fairly certain that in general all these prices will look like a bargain in a few years, just as prices from not too long ago look now. Historically rare guns (especially US army trials) have never lost value and if you look at some of the items that are just a little older they are now bringing in prices in the 60K-120K USD and sometimes higher. Ive been collecting for 15 years and prices seems to go in one direction, higher and higher every year and every auction as more collectors enter the market and fight for the same few guns. Im selling a gun or two to finance a new addition to the collection, as I realize this might be the last chance to buy some guns I'm interested in at prices that are within reach.

It doesn't make it less valuable, its a steal, i wish i was making what I did 2 years ago.
Wish I didnt just give the govt this much lol. Or buy a tractor 2 days ago....
In this case rare = valuable. Provenance = more valuable. In my opinion.

Like I said, if I had the cash It would be mine. If "we" don't then it will go stateside or other. Its not that hard to export...so i guess what im saying is, on this gun, it is and should be world market and zi think its a steal in canada. .....do i really need to pay the gov't or can I just send a note and say its more than im willing to give.

Another way to look at it is....its about the price of 4 currently priced m13s.

How many m13s are there 20,000? More?

There are closer to zero of these than 40 likely...

I know I would rather have one of these than 10 m13s in the future. No brainer, but I dont wanna lose my wife over a gun. Lol

That is precisely my point. It is a rare gun from army trials in US, the market of bigger $ collectors and less restrictions (current and potential).

I'd agree. The market value of high end collectible guns in the US dwarfs what they bring in Canada. Heck, even many 40-70 year old Colt and S&W revolvers are often a bargain here by US standards.

But they are a dime a dozen meaning extremely plentiful and not rare in the slightest, ergo this piece should not be dwarfed or muted by a border.

Fyi...i puppy dog eyed my wife this morning about LOCing this and got a.....have you had a good life husband because im willing to end it. Lol

Full disclosure im a massive hk lover and may be looking thru tainted glasses but I think years from now whoever gets this will be giggling over how cheap it was...

Now I better get off my soap box before I temp fate as outlined above, just sayin....its a p7 that makes a jubilees numbers look like mass production.

I’m a huge fan too. Was eying your stocked VP70 a while ago. A European member on a US forum recently acquired one the 6, 45 acp M7s. That is an amazing one too. Can’t imagine what it fetched.
