I'd really like to buy an M8. I moved to Canada from the U.S. last summer. I owned a PSP but was told by CFC that they aren't permitted in Canada, and so had to sell it. But the design and function on these pistols is outstanding. Anyone know where I can get one?

Thank you for the posting. Another member also put me on to Wolverine. I called and ordered one of the M8s yesterday. Ryan told me that the shipment they now have is very likely the last they'll be able to get. I think that may very well be correct. I suppose in the future parts will be a problem, but over twenty years I've owned two P7s (PSPs), and have never had any kind of breakage. Although the design is simply outstanding, and the pistol was certainly commercially successful, the manual-of-arms is just different enough from the usual that some people are put off by it. I'm sure the current designs will be much more salable, but it's still too bad to lose the P7. Thanks.

It's really too bad the CFC has no f**king clue. You could have kept your PSP. Keep looking - every once in a while one comes up on this board.

Why would a gun owner move to Canada  :)

I'm slowly learning how things work here. It is too bad about the CFC's answer to the PSP, but I've found an M8 and that will have to do. I actually prefer the PSP (I've had two of them over twenty years), but I like the basic design so much, I'm sure the M8 will be fine. I think in a short while all the P7pistols will be history. I will buy a PSP if one comes up. Thanks for your comments. As to moving to Canada, I did it for other reasons, but I am a gun owner and will do the best I can with it now that I'm here. One of the things I've decided I'm going to try to do is to see if there's any way the law can be changed to accomodate people who collect obtaining pistols that are now prohibited. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to go about doing this.
