People are asking that, but don't think much action at that.
I sold a nice M13 with 4 mags, and 2 grips for way less than that M 8

Back in the day, Allen Lever got a deal from HK on P7M8 when New Jersey State Police adopted the gun
Because of the NJSP, the gun was made with a magazine release, instead of the heal release
I still have three from his deal
NJSP surpluses them out with a lot of spare magazine's years later

"They come up from time to time but that is a terrible price. There was one on the EE last week that went for less than half that."

I'm new on this forum. How do I join/access the Equipment Exchange?

They were $1000 surplus guns not that many years ago.

The PSP mayhaps, but not the M8. That M8 and M13 on the EE were crazy cheap and were snapped up accordingly fast. The one at Tigerarms is what I'd expect to see them sold for from a store, the high end. $3500 for a basic M8 with tools and 2 mags is an average sight. M13's go upward of $4200 and the ever rarer M10 can easily go $5k+.

This is from someone who overpaid for his M13.

What are the hard chromed PSP's going for these days?

I haven't seen one up for a while. They seem to command a bit of a premium, but not huge because the chroming would have all been aftermarket I believe and doesn't add collector value. I think only some nickel plated models came out of the factory - notably the M10. I personally really like the hard chrome versions in circulation. It is probably one of the best finishes you have on firearm and I believe most of the hard chromed P7s in Canada were done by Roger Kotanko who knew what he was doing.

These days? I sold one few yrs ago for about 1200.oo, They where a redo, not original finish.
A original blue one I had at the same time was a way smoother gun.
These days? I have not kept up with the market. 2000-2500???????????????

The hard chrome is pretty bomber that's for sure! Contrasts nice with the black grips as well.... that's the first I've heard that Roger did the hard chroming.

That's about what i paid maybe 8 years ago?
I haven't handled a blued model so can't talk to smoothness, but I'll take your word on it...... :)

The HC gun was nice looking, but I think it was rough when it was redone, trigger was not up to the standard . slide was not real smooth, but it worked O.K.
I never stripped it down to really look at the guts.
Cost was 700.oo at the time

The factory finish ones are as smooth as anything out there.
If we could carry, they would be great. smaller than my 4 in smith K frame, almost a pocket pistol.
But as far as lots of shooting, I like a 1911 or CZ more. Kind of a Sunday go to church gun. Or just to brag to the poor glock guys .:stirthepot2:

I don't remember the first wave surplus costs, just that were selling well here and down south.
