If anyone is on the hunt for a P7.
Seems like a strong ask to me but these things are unicorns and the mags are scarce so who knows.....

I'd say the M10 is a unicorn, not so much the M13. Pretty sure GP had that listed several months ago.

While I love the P7 series and wish I still had mine, they are now nothing more than a collectible oddity.
$5500 is rediculous, but who knows there might be some idiot out there willing to flush the money away.

I agree but the same holds true for lots of stuff. Look at some of the oddball things that turn up on Pawn Stars that are worth thousands or tens of thousands of dollars.
In the case of the P7 guess it depends if you want it to shoot or collect.

Speaking of Pawn Stars it does say "asking $5500" in the ad. I guess you could be like Rick and offer 2500 against the 5500 ask and end up at 3000. ;)

The last P7M13 sold on the EE a couple weeks back went for $4750, reduced from the original listing of $5500. It had just the basics: serialized box, 2 mags, manual, carbon scraper and brush. The test target had been lost. It sold within 24 hours of listing.

Mags if you can find them now run $200 CDN and they are no longer manufactured by HK. There are 3 extra mags with this listing along with holsters and mag holders. If you take that off the top of the $5500 ask it puts the price in the mid to high $4k range. It will sell.

From the slide wear on the left side it appears to have seen a fair bit of holster use. An IPSC contender likely. Only a close examination of the piston rings will provide an indication as to usage/round count.

My general take on it. I love the gun, handled a few, never owned any of them, and as a red kool aid drinker would love to own it but the prices are looney tunes for me.

For $5500 I'd want to see better pictures, especially of the aftermarket sight installation. Even from the pictures shown there is more slide wear than I'd expect for the price, and the slide also has the not-uncommon "plum" colour that some don't mind but would bug me.

Yes I saw that listed. Didn't know what the selling price was. Impressive rise in value for these guns. Don't know where it puts the M8s (not as high but there would be spillover) but anyone that, e.g. re-class'ed a prohib will see a great return on their investment!

Not sure about the M8's either although I did see a P7 PSP with box, 2mags, manual and tools (brush and firing pin tool but missing the scraper) sell for 3450 at last August's Switzer auction. That was plus the 15% buyer's premium so $3967.50 and then whatever sales tax applies to your location.

Candocad.

I didn`t know the prices are that high on the P7 series . I was going to list my P7M13 for 3k and though it was overpriced . Glad I kept it . My favorite gun yet it sits in the safe lol.
