Someone please explain to me the difference between the P7M8 and the P7M13. They are listed as the same price at Wolverines, but on the HK site, they don't even list the M13 model. Confused I am, someone enlighten me!

How much chunkier is the M13 compared to the M8?

The grip is wider, otherwise it's dimensionally identical. I wouldn't characterize either as 'chunky'.

If you have small to medium sized hands, the M8 will likely be a better fit. Width on the M8 grip is 1.14 inches. Width on the M13 grip is 1.3 inches. The differences are not huge. The M13 might hold its value better, since there are fewer around.

People say that HK does not manufacture these guns anymore, but I don't think that is correct. They are still available in limited quantities (even the M13). Both are listed on the HK Military sight:

I read that they did a small run for a military contract but they haven't made any others for quite some time.
