Hello all

Now that I don't have a job, I will actually have time to do my black badge & do some IPSC shooting this summer. I'd like to run my HK VP9 I got from IRG last year in Production division, but it has the aftermarket threaded barrel. Does anyone know 100% for sure if the barrel from a SFP9 will fit and function?

Cheers

I have a threaded barrel made for the hkvp9 , i used it in my sfp9...works perfect although poi changed.

The SFP9 has an HK factory barrel that is slightly longer than the VP9. As far as I can see it is the exact same pistol otherwise. So in theory it should work.

RDSC has them in stock last I checked. Perhaps take your Vp9 down there and test it.

I bought a taller front sight from HK parts, as my POI with factory HK 106mm barrel was WAY high. problem solved......and then I decided I wanted a threaded barrel.

With aftermarket threaded barrel, POI went way low and off to the right about 5 oclock. Fitment was perfect though...no issues.

BTW, I would have got a front sight from Freedom Ventures, but was in the USA, so decided to get one from HK parts. Freedom ventures has the fibre optic sights as well as tritium I believe. The VP9 sights should work on all VP9, SFP9, P30 and I think HK45.

Thanks for the info. Wonder what it will do on my VP9 with my Trigicon HD sight. I think I will order & find out.
