Really like the look of this gun and watched some reviews and I feel like I want to use it for black badge course and eventually want to try IPSC and other competitions.

Anyone running the same gun? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks

I haven't done anything more than handle one, but I wouldn't hesitate to use one for competition. In fact, if I were to get back into competition that would probably be my #1 choice.

HOWEVER: You might find that holsters are hard to come by, and I think the mags were also pretty expensive.

I'm not well informed with current regulations for IPSC, if you use an optic it might not fit well into the division structure. That shouldn't necessarily stop you. If you like the gun, any "gun game" will be fun. If you want to be competitive, choose a game that you prefer, and we can recommend a competitive option.

Or don't overthink it. My advice is always to choose a gun that gets you fired up. Start shooting and see what you like, both gun- and game-wise. You can change platforms with minimal cost, really.

Thank you. Good points! I already have hard time to find holster for it.

So if anyone else know which IPSC/black badge holster that fits this gun please post here.

i have the SFPL9 and i love it, i use that for ipsc. holsters arent hard to find, i buy most of mine from Red Hill Tactical, especially with all the custom molds they do if you have (example) flashlight, compensator ect

Can you post pictures of the holster and the gun?

I used that for my bb and shot it for one year. Using daa insert system, really easy to find / change and holster for ipsc.

The one i have is pedal release, the grip fit my smaller than average size hand very nicely.

both holsters are from "Red Hill Tactical" theres always a discount code always floating around for 10% off

as for the compensator, i got someone to import that in (contact any of the trusted importers) IRG, Prophet, ect.

Thanks! I contacted them and they don't have one for the Match model. Yours looks like it has the same length as the Match model on the picture.

Comp Tac seem to get a "thumbs up" on HPPRO for a holster? I'm checking into it? More to follow.

I reached out to Red Tactical Hill and they said they requested the gun from H&K so that they can borrow it to make holster for this gun but they didn’t receive it until now. I didn’t know that gun companies lend firearms to holster makers but it is interesting to know.
