HK SFP9 ####

I hope a .45 ACP version of the SFP will come out soon!!

In the future there is no official plans, the ones that are noted as of now for future development is a SD version with a threaded barrel and knowing hk an altered recoil spring, a maritime model dubbed SFP9M with a different finish on all components much like the sig mk25 or hk mk23, a sfp9sk is also on said list. And a rd designation which no one really knows what it means but is speculating one that has a built in slide cutout for red dot out of the factory.

Very nice! I also have the orange set but on my P30L. They're awesome. When I eventually pick up a VP9 I will install an orange pair as well. I find the orange a lot better to use then the yellow.

This gun has been out in the US for about a year now and has been met with very favorable reviews and comments from users. One bad review has you running for the hills? The sample of one unit does not indicate a problem. It is still a great pistol but I don't blame you for being cautious. I remember the fiasco that was the first gen Walther P99... Phenomenal initial reviews and about 6 months in, the pistols started falling apart.

Well....you just have to believe everything you see on the internet. There's a thread going on up in the pistols forum about how this new gun failed miserably a "torture" test. And now, it's the worst thing ever. sic

No, I realize that there is probably a lot more to this gun than the glock fanboys are complaining about. Although now, I do want to try one out before I commit to a purchase.

As far as the torture test goes...i'm not concerned.

I've put north of 600 rounds through my VP9, the only malfunctions were in the first 100 rounds - which i'd attribute to break in period, 2-3 fail to ejects.

Under normal operating, this gun has had zero issues from me what so ever. I don't plan on throwing it in a cold puddle full of thick gritty mud anytime soon - so it's a non issue for me.
