HK sl8 mag well install issues

I searched and I think I have a problem I cant solve with the search button.

I have the AR mag adaptor which replaces the hk mag well. When I slide it on the holes dont line up well enough to put the large pin back in, not the old HK mag release pin but the one holding the magwell in place ( no big deal its like 1/10 mm off and can be dremeled ) but when it is on pretty much good enough I put an AR mag in the new well and it doesnt seat far enough for the mechanism to strip off a round from the AR magazine. should the mag catch on the new magwell catch the 10 round AR mag?
I read that you have to dremel out a part in the gun below the bolt but I think that is to fit g36 mags in the original HK mag well.
Is there anything I have to drill out or should this AR mag well be a plug and play type of install??

I got it. No worries. You have to drill out the verticle tabs in the reciever then file down the curves above the pin that holds the new well on in order to get the pin holes lined up.
