Hk ump

Hi, finally went the HKparts.net way. Here is the final picture. Went well, at the exception of reassembling the UMP stripped lower with the USC internals, took me 3 hours!! In the end, it cost me 4,400$, including the USC, 2 other mags than the one in the pic, as well as a ACR stock block as extra for the future. Btw, the Promag 20rds UCS mags still fit, but haven't tried shooting with them yet.

Had a chance to handle the real deal before. Neat gun, very ###y looking, but way blockier and heavier than required in my opinion. There are other guns that do the job far better.

Kevin M, in your view what's our best NR 9mm sub gun option in Canada?

I used to own a UMP 9mm. I liked it a lot. But, had paid $8000 or so for it. It just didn't feel like it was worth it. I will say however that it was light, handy, stone-cold reliable, and extremely fun to shoot. Traded it off for a Swiss Arms Sniper.

Yes I heard that man!!!! At 9 grand for a clone and considering what has just become available to us Canucks it doesn't feel like it's worth it to me anymore!!!! The price I payed will no doubt ensure I'll have it to pass down to my chillin and make all other guns seem very cheap compared to my clone.

Probably safer ta say I payed to much!!! But it did come with extras and built very well. I'm happy and don't have any regrets.
But the sig and cz are making the ump clones quite over priced and pointless to the average guny considering the new comers are no doubt built to the same quality standards. The real ump for sale has the authenticity to command the asking price.....but only to the hardcore collectors. I'm betting the clone owners will have a hard time recouping half there investments and the real deal holders will just have to wait and look harder for there returns.

Really nice sub-guns for semi-auto shooting. Would be a sweet Non-Restricted to own with a longer barrel IMO. Really light-weight.

They're super jumpy in fully-automatic though. Probably because they weight almost nothing...

I've considered getting a long barrel for mine or just get a NR kriss can't decide yet.....but I can't see the hk being lighter than an cz evo maybe lighter than the sig.
