For 2016, HK now officially announced the following updates to the MR Product line:

MR223A3 with 11in, 14,5 and 16,5in barrel

MR308A3 with 13in, 16,5 and 20in barrel


- all are delivered by factory with Slim Line HKey guard

Yeah isn't the new one designated SP5K? Think I saw in HK's site awhile back. So if you can legally have a TP-9, as well as Scopion.....why not the SP5K?

Because it is a mp5, and the answer to the next question: " it is just the way it is"!

Anyways, would rather have the Sig MPX than any of the SMG from the 60's.
 
Does anyone know what the length of the gas system is on the mr308? I am kinda in the market for a piston ar10 type rifle but what a 12" gas system and am leaning towards a adam arms alpha 308 rifle.

Gas system length doesn't mean anything in the push rod gun - the gas port and push rod system are proprietary to each design. The length of gas system only means something in the gas tube guns.
