Looks like the U.S website has been updated with the new HK556 and HK762, should be alot of info released tomorrow at S.H.O.T. . Hopefully Questar or someone might be able to bring these in. Looks potentionally more promising than the European version MR223 . Waiting for S.H.O.T. reports :)

Interesting... And the 7.62mm version is very interesting. I wonder what the odds are of anyone being able to import these up from the US once they are out on the market...

Well, I can't speak for the original poster, but I'd say that a 5.56mm chambering, instead of the .223 in the Euro version, is interesting in itself. i.e. surplus 5.56 ammo.

5.56 chamber will not be allowed to be exported from the US. Collapsable stocks also can't be exported for the US.

since the US said that all ARs with 5.56 chambers and collapsable stocks can no longer be exported, I would say the same applies to the HK. I am no expert, but I would say you are SOL on getting one from the US.

hmm I heard the price tag back in MR223 was like $4100... I think we should just look at the MR762... Piston AR rifle are pretty common now, Colt is finally going to make one, LWRC are examples

Looks like these rifles will be US manufactured. Is that a first for HK?

Also, I guess the US manufacture of these guns rules out any chance of seeing them imported direct from Europe....
