HK USP 9mm vs USP 9mm Tactical

Not sure if anyone has them. You could buy a standard usp and change to a match trigger. The usp triggers are modular and as long as you are using unmodified factory hk parts the warranty won't be void, so you can fit in the match trigger just fine, you can either order from a local retailer or you can order the kit from the states. The adjustable sights, up to you, All my pistols will either get the xs big dot or the trijicon hds, so I am not overly sold on adjustable sights myself. And unlike blackacres I don't play with reloads I just run factory ammo, mostly bdx 124 grain. So maybe the reloads have something to do with it, but handguns already have a short range so I am really not sold on adjustable sights.

Where do you get your match trigger and night sights from? I can find them anywhere online.

will they ship to canada?

No, they only ship to the states. I usually get it shipped to atheborderstorage.com then drive across the border and pick it up. That or ship it to one of the people I know at the us and they ship it to me.
Learn the stock trigger first, yes the match trigger is nice, try blackacres custom sport, but it's not like the stock usp trigger is poop. Enjoy the gun, The more you improve the more you appreciate the upgrade, focus on learning the gun and shooting it well. The match trigger parts are not going anywhere, if you must do canadian call wolverine or someone, they will probably charge you more but it would be simpler logistically, you order, you wait.

I have owned and still own a number of H&K's; USP .45, HK45, Mark 23, P7M8 and a .9mm USP Custom Sport.

When I was looking for a 9mm USP, I was really close to buying a USP Tactical, mainly due to the fact I prefer shooting 9mm for practice. However, I was considering the USP Tactical due to the adjustable sights and trigger, which I feel are an asset when shooting different loads, at different distances, plus I really like a nice crisp, clean trigger.

I was having difficulties justifying the added cost, which is considerable when comparing a standard, fixed sight, factory trigger USP 9mm vs a USP Tactical 9mm. Then I managed to come across a new USP Custom Sport 9mm, which includes the adjustable sights and trigger, but with an end of slide barrel, instead of a threaded barrel.

As mentioned above, although the threaded barrel looks cool and offers a slightly longer overall barrel length, it offers nothing else to us Canucks.

When I go to the range, I am 'torn' between taking my German Sig 226, G17 with Vanek trigger, or my H&K USP Target Sport to work with. The USP Custom Sport offers more personal 'tuning' when compared to the others.

My 2 cents, if you want a 9mm H&K with some nice features, and are not looking for a "tacticool" looking piece, go with the USP Custom Sport and save yourself some bucks for ammo!
The H&K recoil system makes it feel like you are shooting 'low recoil' 9mm rounds. A great soft shooting 9 to practice with and shoot.

dido.

where did you get the H&K USP Target Sport? I mean where can I get one? :p
