HK USP Compact 2-Tone

Beautiful pistol...the 2-tone really looks sharp.

I wish we were able to have HK's compact pistols without the threaded barrel. And to boot, we can only have them in a 45ACP, whereas in the USA, they are available in all of HK's currently produced calibers.

My ideal USP Compact would be chambered in 40S&W. I would set it up with the LEM trigger, and install a set of Heinie Straight-8 sights...

...yeah, but that's just as likely to happen as the Toronto Maple Leafs winning the Stanley Cup in my lifetime!!!

Why can't we have this HK Compact in a 9 or 40 with a legal barrel??? This is the first I'm hearing of this. Please explain...:( I got really horny when I saw this pistol.

Not sure if HK in Germany will export the USP compact with extended barrel.

Closest is the P2000 which was the next evolution of the USP compact. I wish they made the P2000 with the classic USP cocked and locked trigger.

Also in my opinion, the P30 would have been better as a CCW gun like the P2000 with a 13 round magazine, short grip, rather than the bigger gun it is.

I don't know why, and I really wish that I did. I know that HK makes full size threaded barrels in 9mm and 40S&W, but I'm not sure if they are interchangeable with their 9 and 40 Compacts...the full size USP45 and USP45 Compact are indeed the same caliber, but the barrels are not interchangeable. If this were the case, it would be as simple as doing a barrel swap to the longer barrel...this would be the only way that we can have these pistols.

On that note, it would require HK to re-tool for the purpose of manufacturing "Canadian legal" Compact barrels...even if it means to just extend the barrels, and not have 'em threaded...

They did it for the P2000...why can't they do it for the Compact? That's the beauty of HK, I guess...
