HK usp compact questions

Hi, i have some question on the hk usp compact with a threaded barrel (.45 acp specially). First, about the rail, i would like to buy laser sight and/or lamplight but don't want to pay like 100$+ for it so does the one of ebay (cheaper one like these ones: http://cgi.ebay.ca/New-Red-Laser-Si...ltDomain_0&hash=item5ad9260042#ht_2951wt_1165
Would do the trick or do i need a hk adapter for the rail?

Second question, threads protectors, i would like to get one for a 16X1LH so does anyone know where i could buy one? or would i have more chance on the EE?

And last question... fake suppressors. Could i legally get one and actually go to the shooting range? i heard i would need a nielson device which legality here in canada is strongly discussed... would i really need a device like that? (i heard if i didn't, the gun wouldn't cycle) would it be this bad for the gun, or just a hassle? Or if i only wanted to have a fake suppressor for look only, could i find some? Sorry if i'm not clear on this point but fake suppressor looks a little dark to me...

The HK rail won't fit standard Picatinny/Weaver accessories, sadly - so you'd need an adapter.

The fake suppressor we already talked about - as long as it doesn't have a big internal cavity or baffles like a real suppressor (i.e. as long as it's a solid piece of aluminum, with a borehole down the middle) it's good to go. But, like I mentioned before, you'll need a LID/muzzle booster/Nielsen device if you want the pistol to cycle.

I'm actually interested to know if anyone in Canada sells Nielsen devices/LID's integrated into fake cans... that'd be a killer market if it's legal. No sound suppression, but full cycling with the "tacticool" looks.
