HK USP Rail

OK, I was reading that the USP uses a non-standard, proprietary rail. Do you USP owners have a fix for mounting your picatinny accessories - or do you have to buy dedicated HK stuff? Is the rail wider or narrower than a pic rail?

There are some lights/lasers that fit to the rail, but they are few and far between. There are adapters available for standard picatinny attachments. GG&G makes one if you want to try google-fu.

I have a HK usp 45 and I found a rail adapter, ncstar?, at an airsoft store. I only have a fab defense flashlight holder to try but it is a loose fit, the light rattles when you shake the gun.

Not really one or the other the usp rail is straight and does not have the horizontal cuts of pic so it doesn't fit anything except proprietary gear.

No the usp does not. It has a proprietary rail.

I think I have a USP adapter that I don't use. PM me if you're interested in buying it. I don't know what brand it is off the top of my head.

There are some rare light made especially for the usp. I have a tactical and use the GG&G adapter, but then holsters don't fit
