Hey Guys,
I have been trying to find a USP Tactical in 9mm. My local shop says they can't get one, just wondering if anyone knows of a place that has one. I don't know if these are even available in Canada because of the threaded barrel, I know the Compact Tactical is so I am assuming that normal Tac is also.

Thank in advance.

Thanks for the link. I didn't know there was a Custom Sport. I wanted the Tac for the trigger and the adjustable sights. So I think I have found my new pistol.

you can buy the regular 9 and add the adj. tactical sites to it if you want. Might end up being cheaper. I added them to mine. As for the custom sport trigger- if you keep the gun for low round count you might want it...otherwise with lots of rounds the factory trigger does break in and smooth out alot.

I believe the actual USP Tactical in 9mm was discontinued though. I havent seen a custom sport 9 with the threaded barrel either (maybe its new?) the tactical didnt have it either. At least thats what ive read.

Ask Maurice to be sure.

Yes, the old 9mm tactical was discontinued. It didn't have the match trigger like the .45. The 9mm Custom Sport Long is on the Wolverine price list, for about $1400-ish. P&D Enterprises had one in stock last year. They are around.

The Tac in 9mm was always a bit of a unicorn because, to my knowledge, most (if not all) were not stamped "USP Tactical" (just USP) and hence is sometimes referred to semi-officially as the USP9SD. The "9SD" had all the features normally associated with the Tac (except the adjustable trigger stop and O-ring) but did have not the markings. It's kinda like the "USP Compact Tactical" which is a USP Compact with the extended O-ring barrel but is not actually stamped "Tactical" anywhere. The other funny thing about the USP Compact Tactical is despite having "Compact" in the name it is most certainly a full-size pistol.

Say, USP, do you collect USPs? Cause that's one hell of an expensive hobby. :p
