noticed that P&D have some USP tacticals in 9mm for $1,365. is that generally a good price for the firearm and how is the firearm itself? I realize that nothing beats holding it in my hand as a judge for myself but i like hearing other opinions as well.

The only advantage the 9mm USP tactical over the non tactical is the sights and the threaded barrel (which has no use in Canada), if you are going to get a tactical get a .45 or .40, they have o-ring systems (better slide to barrel lockup), and the match triggers (supposedly different slides as well).
The 9mm tactical should have a match grade barrel and match trigger as well. It probably has an overtravel stop on the trigger as well. It should basically be equivallent to a USP Custom Sport w/ threaded barrel, which is an excellent gun. The price is exactly in the range of where they normally list.
"Devious" is correct, I own a Custom Sport, and I believe the only difference is the threaded barrel...last time I checked suppressors were not available in Canada (Ontario anyway), so not sure of the benefit over the non-threaded barrel. price also looks right. purchasing from the US gets you a cheaper gun initially, but processing charges/fees and shipping bring the price a lot closer to what we pay here...not always, individual prices vary, and while I have purchased and imported from the US, its not always worth it
Save $335+tax and get the USP 9mm at Al Flaherty's. Don't think these upgrades are worth the premium. Irunguns is almost sold out on everything, by the way. The buying frenzy in the states, combined with the holiday season gave them record sales.

Adjustable trigger STOP. You set it so you don't have any additional trigger pull after the shot has broke. On the HK's it is adjusted by a set screw. I recommend loctiting it once set or else you might discover in the middle of a stage that you have require additional pull (not fun). It is a very tight range on the DA/SA guns so keeping it from changing after set is very important.
The match trigger is noticably smoother than the stock triggers. Perhaps a bit lighter but even the match triggers on HK's are relatively heavy.
