HK VP70 Question

I was reading up on some firearms and I came across the HK VP70. While I was reading I found that the gun is a semi-automatic, however there is an accessory that is/was avaliable that makes it fully automatic.

Would the stock be prohibited because it can make the gun fully auto?

The VP70's that I have handled, are not capable of accepting the stock option, and therefore could not function as full auto.

The early models VP70 were capable of attaching the stock from the sampes I have seen however the FA feature was not operational.the latter models did in fact cover this and only the VP70 M model was able to use the FA feature on the Stock

So which is prohibited: the stock or the VP70"M" ? Should still be the stock, unless there is some other way for the gun to go FA sans stock...

The stock is the prohibited device as it contains the FA fire control components
