Hey all,

With all the HK's that have come in now I may be in the market. How is the grip size and quality on each? I've held a USP.45 Tac and found the grip too thin and small. I use a Glock Gen4 with the large back strap currently. I'm basing this on grip and feel alone. I'd love to hold both but I don't believe anywhere local has them in stock unless Target Sports has them in!

Thanks,

Steve

I just got a hk45 full size from wanstalls and love it so far. About 400 rounds and i feel I got my money's worth. The trigger is not anything special though

Just got my OD Green FS... what a beauty. I can see myself selling my 'last production run, German Sig 220' if it functions the way I suspect it will.

H&K's are just exquisite... Wow. {Not the best pics, resized them very small - having issues with Photobucket.}

Wish I had my Registration papers so I can go shoot it... all I have is the sales receipt. I hear the Reg papers have been really slow in Ontario. Guess I'll have to wait to shoot this beauty.

Loving the really bright Night Sights:

I really love my HK 45 full size. The only complain was the heavy double action trigger.
You won't regard it.

Cheese,

Looks like a few CGN'rs are already throwing their German HK45's on the EE, guess some didn't like them. I'm debating on doing the same thing, unless I can practice and shoot better with it. I can shoot much better with my German Sig 220, unsure why.

Hk pistols have unforgiving triggers, especially newer ones like the p30 hk45s, Sigs mask bad form better. Hk pistols don't. I learned that the hard way, I have thousands of rounds down the tube of a P30 but I still shoot the sig equally well. You have to have good form and excellent trigger work to shoot the new hks well. On the flip end of the coin if you can shoot the hk well it's pretty much guranteed you will shoot anything well.

I know that it's me, just need practice I guess.

You need to cover your point of impact with the front sight on HK 45's. The point of impact is not above the front sight when front & back sights are aligned properly. Try this.
