HK45 has been released

IMHO. that type of handgun, polymer-steel , shold'nt be that expensive, even Sig who used to make there gun pricey dont equal so high a price for there tupperware. HK are good, but no way the class of a Colt Python or a Kimber in 1911. That amaze me that people will pay so much for such a thing. As prairie guy say, get a M&P from Smith in .45 and buy a thousand round of ammo. For myself, I will repeat myself, for a cie(HK) that promote that they dont compromise and dont offer there LEM trigger to civy, I think they are ...liar

I really like your statement. If Glock and M&P sell under $750 then HK should never sell any plastic gun over $700.

I had an LEM hk usp over 2 years ago. It is available to anyone.

Hey Maurice, were do you get your USP LEM, cos' I tried with Dante, Wolverines and some others to get the HK Tactical in .45 with LEM, and all of them told me the only available option for us canucks is trigger 1? But still, a $1500.00 tupperware is a whole lot expensive german made or not.

thats because you may have to buy it as a Variant #1, and then install the LEM trigger kit. Right now, as the USA government has big contracts for the HK pistols with the LEM trigger, the LEM may be harder to get. I would order stateside, as a lot of Canadian retailers do not have experience with the HK USP LEM. WIth the LEM, you will not use the lever. It is not used with the KIT. (*I installed the LEM kit, it was not hard, just required some patience. I sold the gun to a person in Quebec though...)

The only difference between most variants of the USP is the plate that is on the left side of the gun, next to the lever on the inside of the frame. This little part costs about $12-$15 dollars. NO, you do not have to buy a new lever as long as the lever stays on the same side. The lever differences, well, some have the "S" and the "F", others don't. The plates for different variants are available from R. Nichols. Frank at 2Alpha should be able to get the different plates for you. If you look in the USP manual, or look on the internet, you will see most of the variants you can get.
right now, I have the left and right side levers (not ambi kit), and I have the plates to make it like a 1911, cocked and locked-with no decocker. I also have the plate for "decock only". I wasted money getting a new lever.

Tactical does not come with the LEM...

So, wait a sec... are the P30L's already out in the US? If so, I'll organize the group or something.

Let's get this done...
