I was looking for a holster for an HK45 and found the Itac-HK45 holster. I also found the IMI-Z1220 holster. They look identical. Any one know if they are the same company or who is the parent company? I ended up getting the IMI version since they have an ebay site and have free shipping. Links to the company at the bottom. There are also accessories available to change the attatchment method for the holster. Freedom Ventures and Questar have Itac listed but not for the HK45.

What are you using the holster for? Maybe the Blade-Tech DOH?

Not 100% sure what sport I want to do. 3-gun and IPSC are possible. I am not very competitive in nature and am happy target shooting at my own pace. I at least need something for black badge course.

The BladeTechs are nice, but I went with Raven because I needed something for the mounted light.

Also, level 2 holsters that require you to use your trigger finger to release the mechanism have pretty much been universally shunned by professional shooters everywhere due to safety and function issues.

For those who bought the Raven Concealment holster, what safety/decocker position did you choose? On/SA, Off/DA or none/DAO? And where did you get them?

I have been thinking about this myself. It may become be a bigger concern if I install the light LEM trigger.

Does raven ship to canada?
yar

It's personal preference. Me, I would go with safety off/DA. If you're use to the 1911 platform then safety on/SA might be better. None/DA is for LEM triggers.

Just wondering if there are any complications ordering from US company such as Raven as I need one as well. Are there extra fees such as custom/brokerage fees etc or does the company need an export licence?

Raven is a no BS company. Just get them to ship U.S. Postal Service and there are no worries. They are good with e-mailing you updates once the holster gets to the production stage. The only hassle is the time it takes to get one but you know it's going to take a looooong time to begin with so no big deal. They don't bill you until they produce your holster.

Here's mine with the P2000:

I still havn't taken the plunge and bought a Raven. I almost did with my USPc, but I'm glad I didn't since I sold it. I carry my HK45ct in a Comp-Tac MTAC right now (actually for USPc but fits 100%). Great holster but it's only IWB. I'm really considering ordering one this week though, with the IWB and OWB loops. Wait time blows though lol.
Does anyone know what the wait times are for their ammo carriers?

Are Raven holsters legal for competition? They also seem to hug the body rather tight, any problems with drawing?

I don't shoot matches, so I'll leave it to those who do to comment on that, but as far as the draw goes, I'm... well, I'm fat - and I don't have any issues drawing from the Raven, even in concealment. They're close enough to be concealable, but far enough out that you can obtain a good grip, even if you have a spare tire in the way. :D The Raven is actually easier to draw from than a Serpa with the guts torn out.
