HK45...want one? Epps has 5!!!

Where exactly does this silly idea that HK is against civilian gun ownership come from? Seriously, the #### customer service we have in Canada for HK is because of who handles it here. If you look at the recent Recoil Magazine controversy you'll find that HK actually supports civy gun ownership. Let's put this stupid rumor to rest.

Last time I've checked it was up to H&K's sales representatives to decide that the particular gun doesn't have a "sporting purpose", so they won't sell or support a civilian version.
We are talking the USA here BTW and this is just one of many examples of the anti-gun corporate culture coming from H&K.

Here is one, funny article stating pretty much all I said before, just with more details. Love it or hate it. I really don't care.

All 5 are still there... I spent too much money, don't think I'll pull the trigger unless I sell something.

That's actually a good article. Thanks for the link and for the "second opinion" you have given. I never thought about a gun company being "anti," (after all, is it not in the best interest of a gun company to sell as many guns as possible?) but it almost looks like they have a bit of an agenda there. Combine this with prices that really are too high and buying an H&K does not seem overly appealing.

It's hard to believe, but a forum discussion is helping me to change my mind. :D Now I am off to look into the S&W M&P..

Good gun. But overpriced. They do seem to be very love hate by the debates they've caused in the forum. I love when H&K guys make fun of Glocks when our guns are just as( or maybe even more? ) reliable for far less money.

:stirthepot2:

I want one soooo badly...... i don't have the money though. I hate how whenever i buy a new gun i always say to myself that now i have all the guns i want and that i'm not going to buy anymore for a few months. Within a week of saying that to myself there is always another gun i want to buy. Its a vicious cycle that always leaves me broke.... lol

You see, I'm not planning to buy anything H&K as I wasn't impressed with any of their firearms I ever tried.
I didn't like H&K MP5 (which BTW was unavailable to the civilians in North America, because of the decision made by H&K),
I didn't notice anything special about USP (except for the overblown price) and I think that the P30 is just another good pistol.
You may like it or not, but H&K has a reputation for poor customer service or questionable policy regarding their civilian sales:

It's a fact even if the H&K owners don't want to see that.

LOL

HAHAHAH

LOL

Somehow HK got a bad rep back in the 80's.... the F'N 80's!!!!! OVER 30 Years ago for something?? God know what.
And you still drag it out?

Did they have any U.S office back then? or part depot?
I bet everything had to come for Germany and would take a few months.
It's a shame that Internet BS gets spread all over. Unless someone PERSONALLY had issues with HK, then everything is just a unproven rumour.

HAHAHAHA

LAME

Just keep pretending - all You have to do is google a bit and go from there.

After all it's H&K fanboys website - should be nothing, but fun to read.

I just love watching all those brand lovers going mad over someone with a bit different opinion about their candy.
Yeah I know...it's awsome, because You have one!
No, it's just another good gun that is pretty badly overpriced with poor market support.
If You like it - fine - it's all that matters.

Who handes CS for H&K Canada?

What you have is HK saying they looked at what it would cost to bring the gun to market within US laws, and based on what they think they can sell its not worth it to them to do so. Or you have extremely restrictive German laws detailing what kind of guns meet their idea of sporting regulating what HK can sell. If you have bothered to read any of the current stuff regarding HK they are huge 2nd Amendment supporters and make a ton of guns for the civy market. Investing millions of dollars into an item so a few dozen fanbois can own them is not good business.
