Hmm what is this heavy little box the postman brought?

Jeebus.... You're all ready for the set of the next start wars move - Were you worried you might get attacked by a bear and it'd go into hyperspace before you could shoot it? :D

Cool look, no doubt. How practical would it be to actually use a sighting system for these guns? Like.. if you hold it up enough to sight thru something like a red dot, would you wind up with the gun sticking out of your noggin?

The rail the light is on needs to be 1" longer to give my hand just a little bit more room to grip the fore end better when the light is mounted...

My other thought is to get Joe to mount another rail under the foreend so the light isn't sticking out the side.

I'm also imagining the light with a laser...

I think I have finally found the ultimate bear defense long gun for whatever remote area activity that I do... :)

Foxer I guess I had to much time on my hands last night... :) :)

I actually am not very interested in using the shotgun with the pistol grip on as you can see in the bottom pic I have the butt stock on... :shotgun:

That was posted in one of the earlier threads - someone can correct me if i'm wrong but I thought it was 23/4 = 3+1 and 3 = 2+1.

Okay, I had my shotgun with me on holidays in the Kootenay's. It took hardly any room under the seat of the truck. A couple of days after a poor cyclist got killed by a black bear near Invermere our family went for a hike to some falls above St. Mary's lake. I usually get ribbed for packing while in the bush but this time, in obvious griz country no one batted an eye when the shorty came along. To top it all, halway to the falls a nice sized grizzly front paw print was found in the middle of the trail as well as some fresh scat a little further up. I was very glad I carried my little equalizer...

Here is a picture of our destination:

I did seek some trout in the Elk and St. Mary rivers and caught some nice ones, it was a great trip!

AH, the Elk river, great cutthroat fishing area and prime Grizzly area. That shotgun is perfect for fishing protection. Really it is no bigger than my Redhawk.

Troutseeker, how do you carry it in the bush?, do you have a holster for it or a sling?
