Hoarding an issue in Milsurp?

This confirms the accuracy of my statements

It's not a personal attack, this is the part where OP asked for opinions on a public forum.

It's an assessment of a stated position, whereby outside opinions were solicited publicly by the original poster

Ok OP has a good job, it appears the issue is having a non-winner mentality and lacking the insight to understand that.

OP is unable to "meta-think" about how others are seeing this issue and is now defensive in response

It's a sign of lower level intelligence and inability to understand the world outside of one's own personal experience

Typically, the next move is to disengage with the issue when the reality becomes painfully obvious to the person struggling to understand it---------i.e it's them with the issue

You can often tell when a person is younger without alot of friends for social feedback. They have to come on the internet to get that feedback to understand their place in the world.............

Wow is all I have to say. You may have some deep seated issues friend. I'm not going to go into how I have 2 university degrees, a house, a wife and family but I guess you psychoanalyzed me.

... and best of all, you got the entire session for free. am certain you've noticed, but almost everyone is a self proclaimed expert on cgn and a thick skin is often required when posting.

hey, i have been collecting milsurp for about 40 years now (damn but i'm getting old) with the bulk of my collection purchased in the 80s and 90s. at that time, i would buy the item (enfield/garand/k98) only if it was pristine and if the price was 100$ or under. since this time, i see the prices for the same items easily going for 1000$ for enfields and upwards on the EE for the garands and k98s. i recall seeing nice 22 enfields for 225 which was out of my budget; now the same rifles are going for 1500+ on the EE.

i recently picked up a very nice #4 sniper off the EE before xmas and paid 5000$ for it, which was more than i wanted to pay but it was a fair price and i had always wanted one. when i buying my enfields back in the 80 and 90s, the price for a sniper was around 1500 but i couldn't afford one as i was a student during this time. so, if you want to hoard or collect milsurps, you may want to start purchasing them now, rather than wait until later as the prices will only escalate. when they do, you will be kicking yourself and questioning why you didn't start hoarding them way back when while the prices were still reasonable.

at any rate, enjoy your day.... :)
