So I was wondering the other day about the empty weight of a Hodgdon one pound powder container (with and without the lid).
56 grams without lid
62 grams with lid

Hope this helps someone so they dont have to dump out the contents. Gives you a good idea if you have enough powder to load X amount of rounds.

I recently bought a bunch of 1 lb (supposedly, but don't know for sure) jars of Titegroup and there is no weight reference markings at all on any of the containers or labels. I wanted an 8 lb'er but the LGS had none & says might be 2 years before we see any.

Pour it all together and mix it up, then put it back into your original jugs. You will have one large, consistent lot.

No, this isn't dangerous. Maybe if you mix it with a different designated powder.
 
Don’t be afraid to weigh your purchase before you leave with it. Supply chain skimming is alive and well in the Covid era of short supplies .
