Ive been thinking about getting a hunting party together to fly down to Texas for about a week to hunt hogs. I have a bunch of friends that are interested but I want to get a huge party down there. So I guess I'm interested in seeing if anyone on this site would be in on the trip. I don't have a set date as of yet more just gageing to see if there is any intrest. I think it would be fun to go down there with a large to giant party, rent out the majority of the hotel and just have a kick ass time. Looking foward to seeing the responses.

Cheers,
Nick

I don't have any dates in mind as of yet, but I would want to put it far enough away where there is enough notice so everyone can get everything they need to in order. Also if this is a hit, I would like to plan more trips to say the territories and things like that but it will be up to the group to vote on. I just think it would be a blast and fun to see how big the group can get. Im also sure that the disposable income available to each hunter will vary so I would like it to be affordable to as many as possible - I myself am from just outside Toronto in Hamilton, I know not everyone is in this arrea

Figure out some dates and I might be in............I'm in Florida at present and went hogging down here ...got 3....with my AR no less.......Had a great BBQ

Ok I looked into this a bit more and it looks like the best way to do a hog hunt is to go with a guid. I have contacted jagerpro and am waiting to hear how it works for Canadians to come down. This is what I do know, it's $600 per hunter for a night - this includes a guide for 8 hours at night and a Remington r 25 .308 semi auto with $7k worth of night optics and all ammo used, there is no limit on hogs and have seen photos of hunts that got 17 hogs in one night. You get to hunt at night and use a remmington r 25 both things you can't do in Canada so it might be fun
