Hogdon Reloading Data

I am trying to find some recepies for my .338 Lapua. I'm using Sierra 250gr SMK's and I have some H1000 and US869 powder. My Sierra book has no data for the 250 grainers with the US869 so I went on the Hodgdon site and they only list the Hornady bullets with the US869. Does anyone have any data for the SMK's with the US869 powder or would the Hodgon data be interchangeable between the two bullets, i've tried reloaders nest as well to no avail.

Load for the bullet weight. Who made the bullet doesn't matter.

This is what Sierra sent me: "I think I’d start at about 100 grains of US869 and work towards a max of 108 grains with our 250s.

That should give you good velocity, around 2800 fps, and good to excellent accuracy."

Does this sound right? Start at 100gn?

The Hodgdon website says 101.5 to 108.0 grs, so I'd have to agree. All Sierra did was look there.............
